Who this policy covers

This policy describes how the Fieldkit website at use-field-kit.com (and matching Cloudflare Pages previews for the same project) handles information. Fieldkit does not require accounts. The site is operated by Alexander Braz, who can be reached through the contact email. No separate corporate entity is listed. Use of the site is also covered by the Terms of Use.

How the tools work

Every tool on Fieldkit runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Text or files you paste or select into a tool are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to, or stored on, Fieldkit servers for that processing. Closing the tab clears what was shown on the page. Guides and static documentation pages do not collect the content of your clipboard.

Cookies and advertising

Fieldkit uses Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites across the internet.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Fieldkit and/or other sites on the internet. This may include the DoubleClick/AdSense advertising cookie, which helps make advertising more relevant and lets advertisers and publishers measure ad performance. Third-party advertising partners may similarly use cookies, web beacons, or device identifiers; their use of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Hosting and edge delivery

Static files are served through Cloudflare. Like most sites on a CDN, request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and URL path may be processed by the edge for security, caching, and reliability. That is separate from Fieldkit tool processing of pasted content.

Data we do not collect

• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not store the content you paste into any tool on Fieldkit servers.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not keep a Fieldkit-side history of conversions.

Data retention

Because pasted tool content is not uploaded to Fieldkit for processing, there is nothing for Fieldkit to retain from those payloads. Advertising and analytics partners retain data according to their own policies and retention schedules. Browser storage that your browser keeps for cookies or cache follows your browser settings.

Children

Fieldkit is a general-audience developer utility site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you should re-read this page when the date changes.
